Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the rules and expectations for enrolling in and participating in SkillArc workshops, bootcamps, and educational programmes.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, completing an enrolment, or enrolling a student into any SkillArc programme (including Immersive Learning Week), you ("Parent," "Guardian," or "Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our accompanying Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility & Enrolment

Our programmes are designed for school-going students in Grades 5 through 8 (approximately ages 9–14). Enrolments must be submitted and confirmed by a parent or legal guardian.

Cohort sizes are strictly capped to ensure a high mentor-to-student ratio and a safe laboratory environment. SkillArc reserves the right to accept or decline enrolments based on cohort capacity and grade suitability.

3. Programme Format, Venue & Timings

In-person programmes (such as Immersive Learning Week) take place on scheduled dates at our dedicated studio space in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram, India.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pickup of students.
  • Students must be collected only by authorized guardians designated during enrolment.
  • In the event of severe weather warnings or local administrative directives, SkillArc will provide proactive notifications regarding session adjustments or safe make-up arrangements.

4. Fees & Payment Terms

The programme fee covers all classroom instruction, mentorship, experimentation materials, safety gear, electronics kits, project workbooks, and take-home artifacts produced by the student.

A student's seat is reserved only upon receipt of the stated programme fee. Payment instructions and invoices are issued directly to the parent upon acceptance of the enquiry.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Guidelines
  • Notice 7+ days before programme start: Full refund minus nominal administrative transaction charges, or full credit transfer to a subsequent cohort.
  • Notice less than 7 days before start: 50% refund, or 100% credit transfer to a future programme, as maker materials and kit supplies are prepared in advance.
  • After programme begins: Once sessions have commenced, no refunds can be issued for partial attendance or missed days. We will, however, provide the student with all project kits and documentation.
  • Cancellation by SkillArc: If SkillArc must cancel a programme due to unforeseen circumstances, families will receive a 100% prompt refund.

6. Safety & Code of Conduct

SkillArc fosters an encouraging, collaborative, and psychologically safe environment for all learners:

  • Students are expected to treat peers, mentors, and equipment with care and respect.
  • All laboratory tools, hardware components, and scientific apparatus must be used strictly in accordance with instructor safety guidance.
  • Bullying, harassment, verbal abuse, or deliberately destructive behavior will result in immediate parent notification and may lead to dismissal from the programme without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All curriculum frameworks, pedagogical methodologies, slide decks, project briefs, and teaching materials developed by SkillArc remain the exclusive intellectual property of SkillArc and its founders.

Student creations: The physical prototypes, coding projects, writings, and inventions created by students during our labs remain the personal property of the student.

8. Photography & Project Showcase

We love celebrating student breakthroughs! Occasionally, candid photographs and short video clips of student projects may be taken for documentation, parent updates, or website retrospectives.

If you prefer that your child's image not be used in external communications, please check the opt-out box during enrolment or email [email protected] before the first session. We honor all such requests without exception.

9. Liability & Emergency Medical Care

Our mentors maintain continuous supervision and adhere to strict safety standards during all laboratory exercises. In the rare event of a medical emergency, parents/guardians authorize SkillArc staff to secure first aid and seek professional medical attention if the parent cannot be immediately reached.

Parents must disclose any allergies, chronic medical conditions, or specific physical needs prior to the first session to ensure mentor preparedness.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
